Grandson of B. R. Ambedkar, Ambedkar Prakash Yashwant is an Indian politician who founded the Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh party in 1994. He was elected into the parliament from Akola constituency in 1998 and 1999. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha during 1990 - 1996. Prakash Ambedkar founded new political party the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi in 2018.
